Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Healthcare Support and Insurance Claims, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer experiences and resolving complex insurance claims and healthcare-related issues. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, and your ability to listen, empathize, and provide solutions will make a significant impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to inbound calls and resolve customer inquiries related to healthcare insurance claims, benefits, and services

  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding their insurance coverage, claims status, and benefits
  • Resolve complex customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including claims and customer service, to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, regulatory requirements, and industry trends to provide expert advice to customers
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first call resolution, and customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare or insurance-related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer populations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office and CRM software

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in a customer service or claims-related role

  • Experience working in a healthcare or insurance-related industry
  • Certification in customer service, claims, or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
