Key Responsibilities:

As a Group Health Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling the receipt of new cases, including intake, review, and verification of information and requests
  • Drafting cases by entering information into our system, AccessDS
  • Working with clients to obtain missing information and resolving any issues related to processing claims
  • Sorting, organizing, and creating medical document listings as required by clients
  • Monitoring, processing, and tracking cases to ensure timely completion and meeting deadlines
  • Assigning and scheduling new cases to physicians for review, taking into account location, reviewer availability, jurisdictional requirements, and client specifications
  • Ensuring that assigned physicians have no conflict of interest with the case assignments
  • Providing regular updates to clients on the status of their cases
  • Communicating with clients and physicians/physicians' offices via phone and email to ensure proper documentation and information is provided
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and case progress

Special Skills and Attributes Required:

This role involves a significant amount of communication with clients and physicians/physicians' offices via phone and email, as well as constant computer work. Therefore, candidates must possess the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in an administrative or clerical role in a business office environment
  • Experience working in a healthcare (medical office, insurance claims, etc.) environment is preferred
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Apple Operating System, Google Chrome search engine, and Gmail
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills, including a high comfort level in speaking with clients, claimants, and/or physicians
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and quickly changing priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills

Required Education and Experience:

An Associate's Degree is preferred.

Work from Home Technical Requirements:

  • Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is a requirement of all work-from-home positions
