Job Summary

As a Database Analyst at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and updating our database with accurate and timely information related to UPS shipments and deliveries. You'll work closely with our team to investigate and resolve database issues, perform routine database support tasks, and optimize database performance. Key Responsibilities

* Investigate and resolve normal database issues and perform calamity recovery tasks

• Perform routine database support tasks, including file maintenance, backups (full, differential, and log backups), and SQL job scheduling
• Optimize database performance through database estimating and execution tuning practices
• Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and timely data entry and updates
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate database tasks
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management and analysis

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience and training

• 4+ years of experience in database analysis and management, with a focus on UPS data entry and management
• Strong knowledge of database estimating and execution tuning practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a remote team

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS SQL services

• Familiarity with SQL AOG and DB reflecting
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
• Strong understanding of database security and compliance best practices
