Position Synopsis

The Retail Pharmacy Examination team at arenaflex maintains industry-leading scientific solutions to empower a guide that drives innovation development and growth, while delivering great and high-value solutions. This position will report to the Leader Director - Patient Wellbeing and Retail Pharmacy Tasks Investigation. The Director of Information Science, Patient Safety, will use their technical and product management skills to drive our artificial intelligence development to disrupt the way CVS Pharmacy fills solutions. The ideal candidate will be expected to lead, train, and develop a team of data scientists who will be responsible for maintaining current processes as well as encouraging innovative solutions to drive continuous quality improvement within our retail specialty units. Prevention of patient safety events through systematically determined solutions fueled by artificial intelligence/ML will be the foundation of this team's mission. This individual will collaborate with business leaders and partners to assist with defining strategy and innovation, prioritization of analytical endeavors, and definition of specific workplans and tasks to execute across the retail pharmacy chain.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead drives to improve patient safety and advance on professional practice solutions using both explicit and artificial intelligence/ML procedures

• Influence technology depth to engage with key leaders across the organization to identify new uses of artificial intelligence in patient safety topics
• Input business requirements from various partners, lead analysis of large amounts of data and thus orchestrate methodologies and strategies to tackle complex issues
• Direct or facilitate proper testing of analytical solutions including, AI and machine learning, to ensure results are consistent with business requirements
• Create and present significant and insights-driven materials on analytical outcomes with recommendations and proceed wanting to direct various audiences including internal partners and senior leadership
• Create and tutor data scientists, contribute to their learning and development plan, data sharing, and provide feedback on technology stack

Required Capabilities

* 6+ years of experience leading and inspiring elite performance teams. Provides timely and occasional feedback to coordinate reports and holds them accountable for achieving quality outcomes

• Ability to think in an intelligent way; including defining objectives, examining key components, managing financial implications, assessing risk, and creating a plan to make progress
• 8+ years' experience in the Product Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile development, including providing business requirements focused on data and analysis
• Strong leadership abilities, key mindset, and experience driving highly technical teams focused on delivering data and analysis solutions in healthcare
• Strong organizational abilities. Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and consistently focus on key objectives
• Ability to engage with senior business partners, execute level communication, and influencing abilities
• Profound experience in data modeling/exploration with SQL, Python, R, and other advanced analytical tools
• Highly energetic person to work in a very fast-paced environment both individually and with a team

Favored Capabilities

* Strong analysis and data abilities remembering strong training in statistics and data analysis, understanding of data management and visualization, ability to interpret results of AI models

• Related experience using and managing projects using Cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS) advancements.
• Master level programming skills in Python, R, TensorFlow, or other data science environments; strong
• data management and reporting abilities, understanding of deploying AI models in real
• time production conditions including cloud (Azure, AWS), Flash based systems, etc.
• Fantastic project management abilities with ability to lead and participate in multiple projects and
• drives and properly, focus on her/his own experience as well as that of the immediate reports, and
• adjust needs depending on the situation to fulfill time constraints.
• Highest level of integrity while working within legal and compliance guidelines, primarily
• around HIPAA, patient wellbeing work item, and lawyer/client privilege while working with sensitive, confidential, and protected information.

This pay range addresses the base hourly rate or base yearly full-time compensation for all situations in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base compensation offer will depend on various factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant elements. This position is eligible for a CVS Wellbeing reward, commission, or temporary incentive program in addition to the base compensation range listed above. This position also includes an award focus in the organization's value grant program.
