Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in assisting Virginia residents with Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF application processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing informed and objective responses to complex concerns related to eligibility guidelines and policies, access to care issues, and escalated concerns
- Responding effectively to all forms of inbound and outbound contacts, including phone calls, emails, and online chats
- Processing workflow documents, including income, identity, and other eligibility verification documents
- Staying up-to-date on policy and procedures concerning state programs and integrating new knowledge with resource materials to answer client concerns
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following minimum requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong understanding of Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF programs and policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a customer service or call center environment
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF programs
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
