Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Orange County, CA. This is a flexible remote and in-office work arrangement, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home or from our office location. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns, and maintaining accurate records in our call center database.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume of incoming calls from residential and commercial customers regarding their waste and recycling services in a timely manner (75 to 120 per day)
- Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions to resolve customer complaints and concerns
- Maintain accurate records in our call center database by entering information in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow all communication procedures, policies, and guidelines during every customer interaction to ensure a positive and professional experience
Candidate Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum one year of Call Center experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
- High School diploma or GED
- In-person and/or phone customer service experience, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using call center software and databases
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
