Major Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Monitoring Representative, you will play a pivotal role in our noble purpose to help save lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and dispatching proper authorities for residential and small business alarms
  • Contacting responsible parties to verify alarm activity and provide instructions for alarm reset
  • Documenting alarm handling procedures within the alarm screens
  • Completing alarm processing in accordance with departmental procedures
  • Providing basic troubleshooting and technical support to customers during outbound alarm calls and inbound alarm call backs

A Day in the Life of a Customer Service Monitoring Representative

As a Customer Service Monitoring Representative, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and challenges. Here's a glimpse into what a typical day might look like:

  • Handling incoming alarm calls and placing outgoing calls to verify alarm activity and dispatch proper authorities
  • Paying attention to detail while documenting alarm handling procedures within the alarm screens
  • Completing alarm processing in accordance with departmental procedures
  • Providing alarm reset instructions and basic troubleshooting to customers during outbound alarm calls and inbound alarm call backs
  • Receiving inbound calls related to alarm call back inquires

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of six (6) months of customer service experience required
  • Technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize multiple items at once
  • Ability to be licensed in multiple states

Pay and Benefits Disclosure

The pay for this role is $16.00 per hour base. We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
