Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, handling a wide range of inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Handle ticketing, check-in, and baggage services using computerized systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Manage reservations, resolve complaints, and handle cash, checks, credit cards, and vouchers as forms of payment
- Assist customers in a polite and friendly manner, answering inquiries and providing information on flights, destinations, and travel requirements
- Deal with mishandled customers due to oversells, delays, cancellations, or lost baggage, providing empathetic and effective solutions
- Communicate current flight information and assist with emergencies, ensuring our customers are informed and supported
- Complete necessary forms and reports as required by the company, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies
- Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless customer experiences, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive excellence
Requirements
* Ability to type and use a computer keyboard efficiently, with a strong understanding of computerized systems and software
- Excellent reading and comprehension skills, with the ability to follow instructions and procedures related to ticketing, rules, and regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, handling stressful situations and maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting and standing, and work under tight time constraints
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to resolve customer issues
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules
- Foreign language skills are a plus, but not mandatory
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous customer service experience in the travel industry or a related field
- Knowledge of airline operations, travel regulations, and industry standards
- Experience with computerized systems, including ticketing and reservation software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
