Job Summary

As a Certified Pharmacy Clerk in our remote data entry team, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring seamless prescription processing. You'll be responsible for updating patient profiles, entering prescription information, and preparing third-party insurance claims using our computerized system. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to work independently will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist pharmacists in updating patient profiles and entering prescription information into the pharmacy computer system, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations and patient confidentiality.

• Fill prescriptions under direct pharmacist supervision, following safety and security procedures, and adhering to provincial regulations.
• Prepare third-party insurance claims, process invoices, and make accounting entries using our computerized system.
• Order, receive, tag, and stock prescription drugs and supplies, following product storage procedures and standards.
• Order, receive, tag, and stock over-the-counter products, creating product signs and performing roaming duties as needed.
• Provide remote data entry of prescriptions for all Ontario arenaflex Pharmacies.
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.

Qualifications

* Education/Training: Completed a pharmacy diploma at a Community College.

• Licenses/Certifications: Completed a certification as required by the province where applicable.
• Experience: Candidates with current pharmacy experience will be given preference.

Required Experience

* Knowledge/Skills: Preferred knowledge of Kroll software.

• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computerized systems and software applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pharmacists, patients, and other team members.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and prescription processing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a pharmacy environment, with knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures.

• Familiarity with Kroll software and other computerized systems used in pharmacy settings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems efficiently.
