Clinical Nutrition Dietitian (Remote)

Nutrition Counseling Dietitian The Nutrition Counseling Dietitian will be responsible for provision of diagnosis-specific Nutrition education and counseling. This role will provide initial and ongoing education as needed. In addition, this role will provide patient/caregiver education and training where applicable and serve as nutrition subject matter expert. Candidates must be located in PA to be considered for this role. Essential Job Duties:

• Completes the Start of Care and follow-up education for home nutrition counseling patients via Video or Telephone.
• Demonstrates knowledge of diagnosis-specific nutrition therapy and counseling and operates as a subject matter expert to the sales, intake and clinical team
• Performs duties as assigned in a timely, efficient, competent manner, including timely completion of documentation and communication to internal and external customers.
• Creates and provides education to the employees to keep them abreast of new information in nutrition therapies. Creates/reviews documents that will be used for customer education. Participates in quality management meetings and quality management initiatives

Other job duties and special projects as assigned. Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Registered Dietitian with at least two years of experience.
• Experience in counseling patients in weight loss, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, PCOS, eating disorders, wound healing, renal issues
• Participation in CAQH; Must maintain credentialing with identified commercial insurance plans and Medicaid/Medicare.
• Able to work autonomously and make independent decisions within generally accepted medical practices, regulations and guidelines.

Salary Range: $39-$40 an hour Pentec Health offers a comprehensive compensation and full benefits package.
