Position Overview

As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional phone support to hospitals and patients, resolving billing inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. You'll also assist patients effectively, clarify their questions, and ensure they receive the information they need. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you work through issues, pinpoint the root cause, research solutions, and implement the best option. When necessary, you'll escalate unresolved matters to ensure a seamless experience for our patients and partners.

Responsibilities

* Provides exceptional phone support: Handles calls from hospitals about billing inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Assists patients effectively: Clarifies patient questions and ensures they receive the information they need.
  • Problem-solving champion: Works through issues by pinpointing the root cause, researching solutions, implementing the best option, and escalating unresolved matters when necessary.
  • Data entry specialist: Maintains accurate patient records by inputting information into the hospital's computer system.
  • Connects callers seamlessly: Routes incoming calls to the most suitable person within the company.

Requirements

* Epic Software experience highly preferred

  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Must have worked in a call center and experience in Medical Claims and/or Insurance
  • Ability to undergo a criminal background check, Prove ownership of a High School Diploma, GED or Transcripts and complete a drug screen testing (testing for THC as well).
  • Have High Speed Internet with a minimal of 50 Mbps Download/20 Mbps Upload Speed - Must be able to hard wire via Ethernet cable.
  • Ability to work from home in a quiet setting with no others within earshot, due to HIPAA compliance, including a workspace to accommodate two monitors and a computer.
