Our Food and Drink group drives food and beverage services, including renewal, stock accuracy, sanitation, display, pricing, and special marking processes for all Food and Beverage areas of the store.
Job Summary
As a Food Service Team Leader at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly colleagues in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment. Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of hourly colleagues in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment
- Develop and execute daily/weekly plans to achieve business objectives and customer engagement
- Model customer service principles, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers
- Evaluate Food Service back of house, production areas, eating spaces, and promotional spaces to ensure food handling and proper stock levels
- Walk Food and Drink Standards and Food Service schedules daily to evaluate needs and respond to identify business gaps for follow-up
- Ensure proper execution on all sanitation standards and cleaning schedules
- Approve and follow up on specialists' progress against store agendas and schedules
- Lead your team to maintain and uphold all Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards and production requirements (where applicable)
- Cultivate a positive relationship with your Starbucks DM (if applicable), attend expected in-store planning and meetings, and follow up on key takeaways from their time in your store
- Ensure precise in-stocks by submitting store-initiated requests according to best practices
- Pursue production quantity options with timely execution to ensure freshness, in-stocks, sales, and profit are achieved daily, consistently
- Encourage and empower specialists to stay up-to-date on relevant trends and products
- Assess and recommend candidates for open positions and develop a customer-driven team
- Lead team onboarding and training, closing knowledge and skill gaps through training and experiences
- Establish clear objectives and expectations and hold colleagues accountable to expectations
- Complete all Starbucks or Pizza Hut training requirements and certifications
- Demonstrate a culture of moral integrity, safety, and compliance; Lead team to work similarly and hold others accountable to this responsibility
- Lead and foster a safety promotion culture by understanding what safety means for your role and that of your team, identifying and remediating hazards, and holding team members accountable to working in a safe manner to benefit themselves and others
- Exhibit a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through ongoing development, demonstrating inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias
- If applicable, as a key transporter, follow all completely safe training and processes
- Address store needs (crisis, administrative visits, etc.)
- Access all areas of the store to address customer or colleague issues
- Support customer services, such as backup clerk, order pickup (OPU), and Drive-up (DU), and maintain a compliance culture while executing those responsibilities, like compliance with government, state, and local adult beverage regulations
- Any other responsibilities as needed based on business requirements

Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- Past retail experience preferred, but not required
- Strong interest and knowledge of the food service industry
- Lead and hold others accountable

- Manage responsibilities and focus on tasks autonomously

Additional Requirements
* Access all areas of the store to address customer or colleague issues
- Decipher guidelines, reports, and data
- Precisely handle sales register operations
- Move all over ladders
- Output, handle, and move stock effectively and safely, including frequently lifting or moving product up to 40 pounds
- Adaptable schedule for work (e.g., evenings, weekends, and holidays) and regular attendance required
- Handle and move stock in coolers and freezers up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in areas where common allergens may be handled or present
