Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Remote Retail Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service through consultative behaviors, anticipating customer needs, and finding solutions to meet customer needs
  • Taking complex customer orders using order systems and providing accurate pricing information
  • Assembling parcels and preparing goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels
  • Setting up and operating printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied original media and documents
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment
  • Ensuring confidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents, media, and packages
  • Processing financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change
  • Cleaning, repairing, and stocking all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability
  • Staying current on retail store merchandising materials and ensuring proper display of all retail area product and signage
  • Taking preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
  • Completing required financial paperwork and may assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits

Essential Functions

To succeed in this role, you must be able to:

  • Stand during entire shifts, excluding meal and rest periods
  • Move and lift 55 pounds
  • Bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
  • Perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
  • Function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
  • Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business

Preferred Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent education

  • 6+ months of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Familiarity with customer service software and systems
