Position Summary
As a Part-Time Remote Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry/Customer Service, you will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients. You will work in a closed-door pharmacy setting, where you will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our patients. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Day in the Life
As a Part-Time Remote Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry/Customer Service, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:
- Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
- Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
- Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
- Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
- Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we welcome candidates with:
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- PTCB National Certification
Education
You will need to have a verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
