The Opportunity

As an Overnight Card Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective communication, problem-solving, and empathy. You'll work closely with customers to resolve their inquiries and issues, utilizing standard screens, scripts, and procedures to ensure seamless interactions. With a focus on building strong relationships and providing industry-leading care, you'll be the face of arenaflex, representing our brand and values to millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle routine customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, digital, or chat channels, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills

  • Navigate a computerized system for responding and/or troubleshooting to customer questions, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions
  • Actively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management
  • Provide empathetic support to customers regarding reward redemptions, customer information updates, card activations, making payments, processing lost or stolen cards, statement and APR inquiries, and processing credit line increase and decrease requests
  • Leverage multiple systems to respond to, troubleshoot, and document customer inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions
  • Build the arenaflex Financial brand by providing industry-leading care and innovative solutions

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year of customer service experience preferred

  • 1+ year of recent third-shift experience; ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to operate office equipment, such as computers, telephones, printers, and calculators
  • Ability to communicate in written form; strong writing and documentation skills
  • Completion of a series of activities designed to evaluate specific skills, knowledge, and qualifications related to this position

Preferred Qualifications

* 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the financial services industry

  • Experience working with diverse customer populations, including those with varying financial needs and backgrounds
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
