Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support our business operations. You'll work closely with our Data Science team to ensure that our data pipelines are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability. You'll also collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure that our data pipelines are integrated with our cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
* Collaborate with our Data Science team to ensure that our data pipelines are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability
* Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure that our data pipelines are integrated with our cloud-based infrastructure
* Develop and maintain automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and analysis
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with our data pipelines, working closely with our Data Science and DevOps teams
* Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data engineering and cloud-based technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our data pipelines and infrastructure
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake and PostgreSQL
* Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Docker
* Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
* Experience with source control systems such as GitLab and GitHub
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark
* Proficiency in cloud-based design and product development, with experience working with AWS
* Experience with automated workflow and script development, using tools such as Apache Airflow and Python
* Strong understanding of data visualization and business intelligence concepts
