Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering calls, emails, and social media messages in a timely, courteous, and accurate manner
- Assessing customer needs and offering solutions and additional products
- Selling travel-related services, including car rental and credit card vendor partner products
- Understanding and adhering to all arenaflex and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance requirements
- Collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex customer issues
- Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and arenaflex products and services
How You'll Connect Our Customers to the World
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Optimize your listening skills to understand customer needs and preferences
- Quickly identify and own customer issues, providing solutions and additional products
- Actively search for solutions to problems, making quality decisions and demonstrating attention to detail
- Interact with a globally diverse group of customers and colleagues, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect
- Sell travel-related services, including car rental and credit card vendor partner products
- Participate in emerging social media platforms, such as Twitter and Facebook, to connect with customers and provide support
Special Opportunities
As a Customer Experience Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to advance to specialty teams that respond to customer concerns or resolve complex international ticketing issues. You may also be eligible for internal bilingual positions, with associated pay increases.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency
- A strong desire to make a positive impact on customer experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Digital literacy in navigating web-based and airline-specific software applications, emails, instant messaging, and internet searches
- A commitment to maintaining excellent attendance, performance, self-motivation, and goal attainment
- A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge
To take your career to the next level, consider the following:
- One year of experience working in sales and at least one year of experience providing customer service
- Spanish language fluency, which may be beneficial for internal bilingual positions
- A strong understanding of industry trends and arenaflex products and services
