Job Summary

As a Senior Programming Improvement Specialist in the Information Stage Group, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance data platforms to support arenaflex's data-driven initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to the engineering, development, and deployment of data solutions, enabling us to deliver personalized, seamless, and exceptional experiences to millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain high-performance data platforms that support arenaflex's data-driven initiatives.

• Contribute to the engineering, development, and deployment of data solutions that enable personalized, seamless, and exceptional experiences for users.
• Work with Programmers and ML architects to build data stage reflections that fuel the needs of various groups, systems, and products.
• Streamline data delivery and build the framework required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data for a wide range of use cases using SQL/Flash.
• Build stream processing pipelines and tools to support a wide range of analysis and review use cases.
• Continuously assess new and relevant technologies and drive the adoption of new best practices.
• Influence and drive engineering and design conversations in the Information Stage group.
• Work in a cross-functional team and collaborate with peers throughout the entire software development life cycle with a strong emphasis on continuous delivery.
• Act as a technical mentor and guide for junior colleagues, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented workplace.
• Ability to support hyper-scale data frameworks across multiple geographies and regions.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.

• 4-6 years of experience in software development, preferably in data-related groups.
• In-depth understanding and experience working with high-scale data lake house frameworks.
• Active experience with Big Data technologies like Apache Flink, SQL, Hadoop, Hive, Windshift, Kafka, and Kafka connectors.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Java, Scala, Go, Python.
• Strong understanding of database and data storage fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of data storage architectures like Parquet, Hudi, Delta, and more.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

* B.Tech/B.E/Experts/PhD in Computer Science from a reputable university or related technical discipline.

• Experience with data lake house solutions like Data bricks.
• Experience with continuous streaming data pipelines using Flink Streaming or Flink.
