Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering and processing various types of information, such as invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and employee data from multiple sources.
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent details and ensuring accuracy in data entry.
  • Correcting errors and organizing data in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing.
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering information into relevant databases.
  • Ensuring data is backed up regularly to prevent loss.
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered and resolving issues promptly.
  • Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to facilitate easy retrieval.
  • Handling additional duties as required, such as typing in data provided directly by customers, creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures, verifying data, updating existing data, and retrieving data from the database or electronic files.
  • Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation and maintaining a high level of data accuracy.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • A high school degree or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a related field
  • Fast typing skills, with knowledge of touch typing systems strongly preferred
  • Basic understanding of databases and data management systems
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, and strong customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
