Content Writer/Editor

As a Digital Marketing Specialist for SAC, you would be joining a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to consistently producing world-class content which will serve as the foundation for helping our clients achieve their highest educational aspirations. Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on assigned topics;
- Draft, revise, and finalize compelling original content while adhering to specifications and strict company-developed SEO guidelines (generating a minimum of 15,000 words of original content per month);
- Update and refresh existing company marketing content; and
- Assist on all other Marketing Department projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field;
- Proven content writing or past copywriting experience;
- Superior research, writing, and editing skills;
- The ability to receive and implement constructed feedback and instruction;
- The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines;
- Ability to work independently while also having the ability to integrate seamlessly into a team;
- Experience with competitive admissions at the undergraduate and/or graduate level a plus; and
- Working knowledge of SEO terms and strategies a plus.
Reporting
- Position currently reports to the head of the marketing department.
Position Type
- This position is a full-time position with flexible work hours. This position is expected to complete 40 hours per week.
- Position is considered “non-exempt” under state and federal law pertaining to overtime, meal, and rest periods.
Location & Other Requirements
- This position is 100% remote.
- Must have access to a computer with an internet connection.
- This position does not require the ability to regularly lift heavy items or perform strenuous physical tasks.
