Key Responsibilities
As a Phone & Chat Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
- Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing prompt and accurate responses to customers
- Following established communication scripts to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions
- Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives
- Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide excellent customer service
- Performing data entry and customer service tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Navigating online efficiently to access relevant information and resources
- Working requests/records received for those requesting to sign up for a shift, identifying customers' needs, and researching to see if requests have the necessary credentials
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to cross-train as requested
- Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, with a positive and professional attitude in all customer interactions
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
- 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required
- Technical savvy, with experience working with computer systems and software
- Previous remote work from home experience is a plus
- Quick learner and able to work independently, with strong problem-solving skills
- Type 35 words per minute accurately, with strong phone and verbal communication skills, and active listening
- A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required
