Responsibilities:
As a Data Entry Operator/File Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our database system. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining an employee database and updating customer data on a daily basis
- Reviewing data deficiencies or errors, correcting incompatibilities, and verifying the output of authorization documents
- Checking data for accuracy and sorting it according to source documents
- Verifying and updating data before entering it in the database
- Entering data and filling in missing information through research and coordination with the concerned department
- Applying data program techniques and procedures
- Entering paperwork into an electronic system using data entry or optical scanners
- Dealing with requests to access files and keeping logs of borrowed papers
- Developing an efficient filing system to make updating and retrieving files easier
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma (Data Entry Operator Certification will also be considered)
- Proven experience working as a Data Entry Operator, Data Entry Clerk, Typist, or a similar position in the Administrative Department
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Accurate typing skills with extraordinary typing speed
- Strong understanding of data integrity and security
- Familiarity with administrative procedures
- Proven experience as a file clerk
- Knowledge of filing systems
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and office equipment such as photocopiers and scanners
- Good command of English, both oral and written
- Dependability and respect for confidentiality and policies
