Job Summary

As a Part-Time Remote Associate Customer Support Representative: 1st Shift, you'll play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional support and service to our clients. You'll work closely with internal departments to resolve customer inquiries, process orders, and provide technical support. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing accurate and timely information to resolve issues and meet customer needs

  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as service parts, field service, materials, production, logistics, sales, finance, and management, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer concerns
  • Process orders, including data entry, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Initiate and track documentation to authorize and direct work according to customer contractual obligations
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and leadership, promoting a culture of teamwork, respect, and open communication
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and company policies to provide informed and effective support to customers

Essential Qualifications

* 0+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or customer service environment

  • Basic reading and math skills, with the ability to adhere to safety-related issues, such as good housekeeping, ergonomics practices, documentation, and team concepts
  • Proficiency in modern office procedures, including the use of personal computers, fax machines, and copy machines

Preferred Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience working in a customer service/hospitality environment or in a call center
  • PC literate, with experience in ERP systems (JDE/SAP) a plus

Skills and Competencies

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with CRM software and customer relationship management a plus
