Job Description
As an Experienced Integrated Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in serving as a subject matter expert for all Integrated Data Collection and Analysis Tool (IDCAT) related analyses. You will be responsible for analyzing data from various sources, including Flight Safety Programs, to provide concise and indicative insights to the Data Integration Group (DIG). Your expertise will also be utilized to support the analytical needs of Flight Ops Safety and perform administrative IDCAT responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly FAA reports
- Administer all aspects of the IDCAT software, including customer assistance and feedback monitoring for Flight Instructors/Evaluators during observation data access into IDCAT
- Support all Integrated Data Collection and Analysis Tool (IDCAT) software-related administrative responsibilities, including accounts, new commands assistance, etc.
- Download Tableau data to the Southwest Airlines server and populate current dashboards
- Analyze, create, and visualize data in Tableau workbooks/dashboards
- Categorize and manage Instructor/Evaluator measured devices and feedback for assessment
- Support IDCAT observation form format and generate/create data collection office work within the software
- Perform daily education data analyses as defined in AC 120-54a and identify gaps in effectiveness in current Flight Ops Training and represent Flight Ops Safety in selection discussions
- Assist in, and provide assessment assistance for the quarterly data examination of the Data Integration Agency (DIG) and AQP. Execute and deliver data requests as needed to support the Flight Ops Training (AQP) staff
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Intermediate analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate data with attention to detail and accuracy
- Broad knowledge of database management, assessment of big and complex databases, and data visualization skills required (Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)
- Knowledge of integrating qualitative and quantitative datasets
- Intermediate knowledge of statistics and math concepts. Must be detail-oriented and have strong research skills
- Knowledge of business airline operations and proficiency in building relationships with all levels of employees
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite; experience in developing presentations and should possess strong writing, speaking, and presentation skills
- Excellent partnering, communication, and negotiation skills in working with diverse teams and departments
- Ability to resolve complex problems and perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple situations and adapt new techniques and methodologies if necessary to efficiently meet company objectives
- Ability to be energetic, self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and willingness to excellence
Education
* Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
Experience
* Intermediate level experience, preferably with significant records in: + Data analysis and visualization, task management + Tableau data visualization + Complex dataset analysis
