Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Live Chat Agent, you'll be responsible for:
- Handling customer queries on web chat, email, and social media in a polite, professional, and timely manner
- Educating current and potential customers about our products and services, and providing them with the information they need to make informed decisions
- Maintaining accurate customer records, including updating customer information and resolving customer complaints
- Identifying and escalating priority issues to the Team Leader and Ops Team in a timely and efficient manner
- Actively participating in team meetings to stay informed about company updates, share best practices, and collaborate with colleagues
Key Performance Indicators
To succeed in this role, you'll need to:
- Handle all queries in a polite, professional manner, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported
- Probe and troubleshoot customer queries, providing suitable and satisfactory solutions that meet their needs
- Educate customers on our services and processes, empowering them to make informed decisions
- Escalate any issues to the Team Leader, ensuring that problems are resolved promptly and efficiently
- Achieve agreed KPIs and Objectives, including resolving customer complaints and improving customer satisfaction
- Adhere strictly to shift schedules, ensuring that you're available to support customers during peak hours
- Adhere to laid-down internal policies, procedures, and processes, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree from any stream (if a fresher) or a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (if experienced)
- A passion for customer care and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Good typing skills, with the ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- The ability to work well under pressure and with minimum supervision, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation
- A fast learning curve, with the ability to work with set targets and adapt to changing priorities
- Time flexibility, with the ability to work in a rotational shift system, including public holidays and weekends
