About the Role
As an Experienced Full Stack Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, including healthcare providers, veterans, and beneficiaries. Your primary focus will be on answering incoming calls, gathering required information, and making determinations to resolve claims and benefits-related issues. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that every interaction is a positive experience for our clients, and that we're delivering on our promise of exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer incoming calls from healthcare providers, veterans, and beneficiaries to gather required information and make determinations to resolve claims and benefits-related issues
- Conduct every transaction with a customer-focused, courteous approach to ensure first call resolution and achieve quality scores while maintaining production standards
- Research and evaluate medical claims and benefits for proper adjudication
- Document call activity and make requests for corrective action into VA systems
- Maintain a working knowledge of applicable VA regulations as they relate to 72-hour notification requirements
- Act as an effective team member, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED required
- Preferred 1-2 years' experience in customer service
- General office skills and knowledge of standard office equipment
- Working knowledge of software such as Excel and Word
- Data entry and 10-key experience necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Personal traits of a high-level commitment, motivation, energy, team orientation, professionalism, trust, personal honesty, and integrity, and a demonstration of placing others in a place of high value
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a healthcare or benefits-related field
- Knowledge of VA regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with client systems, soft phone systems, and customer relationship management software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
