Job Summary
As a Data Entry + Translation Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes, while also providing occasional translation support to facilitate communication with our team. You'll be responsible for data entry tasks, primarily focused on inputting data into Excel spreadsheets and uploading it to Oracle systems. Additionally, you'll assist with English-to-Spanish translation of documents and communication materials as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Entry (90-95%): + Collect data from employees and other sources. + Accurately input data into Excel spreadsheets. + Upload data to Oracle systems following established procedures. + Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes and minimize time wastage.
- Translation (5-10%):
+ Assist with English-to-Spanish translation of documents and communication materials. + Ensure accuracy and clarity in translated content to facilitate communication with our Mexico team.
- Other responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in data management. + Participate in training sessions to enhance proficiency in industry-specific terminology and data entry best practices. + Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
* Basic proficiency in Excel; familiarity with basic functions required, advanced functions not necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong translation skills preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to industry-specific terminology with provided training.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome; no prior experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with data entry and translation software.
- Familiarity with Oracle systems and Excel advanced functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
