Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our healthcare quality improvement program by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. You'll work closely with our IT and data analysis teams to design and implement data solutions that drive business insights and inform our clinical decision-making. This is a part-time, remote position that offers a competitive hourly rate of $32/hour.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with our IT and data analysis teams to design and implement data solutions that meet our healthcare quality improvement program's reporting and analysis needs
• Supervising the delivery of Walgreens Health data and insights drives and projects, ensuring timely and accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Planning, creating, and delivering layered data bases and data pipelines to support reporting and analysis projects
• Developing data governance and pre-processing standards for populating consistent and accurate data models attached to report-specific working tables for both business intelligence and pre-defined reporting arrangements
• Applying data extraction, transformation, and loading best practices to integrate large datasets from various internal Walgreens production system sources and external records
• Performing data profiling and data analysis across internal production systems, manually maintained data, and standard healthcare data collections (e.g., patient qualification, clinical cases, pharmacy claims, HEDIS ECDS records)
• Creating internal tools for the automation of all development-related activities (data handling, QA, data approval, etc.)

Essential Capabilities

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Verifiable, hands-on experience writing and tuning SQL-based ETL/ELT scripts
• Experience designing and delivering reasonably isolated data conditions using ETL/ELT services that include but are not limited to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Snowflake
• Experience providing technical leadership and presenting device rationalist semantic data layer upgrades connected with BI technology stage like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical teams, internal partners, clients, and vendor partners
• At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace
• No less than 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team management
• Ability to travel up to/no less than 5% of the ideal time for business purposes (within state and out of state)

Preferred Capabilities

While not required, the following capabilities are highly desirable:

• Knowledge of pharmacy, healthcare, and clinical research concepts
• Experience working with healthcare data and analytics tools
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles
