Job Summary
As an Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately process prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets
- Verify medication accuracy and check for potential interactions
- Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems
- Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow
- Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Register all related sales on assigned cash register and collect and handle coins as required
- Assist customers in finding merchandise and provide excellent customer service
- Handle telephone calls that do not require the personal attention of the pharmacist
- Correct and resubmit claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the store manager
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Previous experience in a retail environment preferred
- Previous work experience with arenaflex preferred
- Strong math skills to accurately fill prescriptions
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of store inventory management preferred

Preferred Qualifications
* Six months of experience in a retail environment

Education and Personal Development
* Earn and maintain % certification through the arenaflex training program and/or state required certification/registration
- Attend training and complete PPLs as required by manager and acquire continuing education credits
- Maintain expertise and skills in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest information and developments
- Through completion of the arenaflex pharmacy technician apprenticeship program, experience qualifies for 8 (8) college credit hours as recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE)
