Key Responsibilities

As a REMOTE Live Chat Customer Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to live chats from customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing accurate and helpful information to customers about our products and services
  • Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a fair and efficient manner
  • Collaborating with our sales team to provide customers with the best possible experience
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date with industry trends
  • Working closely with our team to achieve our customer service goals and objectives
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a sales or customer support environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Proficiency in using live chat software and other customer service tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. business, marketing, communications) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a REMOTE customer support environment
  • Knowledge of the shipping container industry and its products and services
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Experience working with customers from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles and practices
