Job Summary

We are urgently hiring for a remote data entry job at arenaflex, and we're looking for an experienced full stack data analyst to join our team. As a data analyst, you will work with large, messy, disparate datasets to perform ad-hoc analyses and create data visualizations to inform business decisions. You will also engage with cross-functional teams to analyze stakeholder needs and provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities

As a data analyst at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

• Working with large, messy, disparate datasets to perform ad-hoc analyses and create data visualizations to inform business decisions
• Developing ETLs or scripts to pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table
• Engaging with cross-functional teams to analyze stakeholder needs and provide actionable insights
• Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks, such as screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition
• Documenting your methods and sharing your expertise with colleagues, including mentoring junior team members as you become a Subject Matter Expert

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience)
• Creativity with a user experience basis to develop impactful Tableau dashboards (1-2 years of experience)
• Business operations fluency, with the ability to recognize and root cause business problems, ideally with a supply chain background and transportation experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau
• Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
