Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Online Chat Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients' customers through live chat, social media, and email. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer support through live chat, social media, and email

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Offer product recommendations and provide sales links to customers
  • Process customer orders and resolve any issues related to payment or shipping
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and targets
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, marketing, communications) preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a call center or online support environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in using technology, including social media and website chat functions
  • Reliable internet connection and a device that can access social media and website chat functions (e.g., phone, tablet, laptop)
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility to work more hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools
  • Familiarity with Squarespace or other website platforms
  • Experience with social media management and content creation
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
