Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting the transfer of large amounts of data into our new database system and updating current database files. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain valuable experience in data entry, database management, and customer service. Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Recording, reporting, and ensuring the accurate input of multiple types of data into the proper database cells
  • Entering information in a work order and document control system, as well as completing manual forms as needed
  • Possessing a thorough understanding of the document control and record files
  • Receiving and processing incoming and outgoing materials
  • Transferring confidential records and documents from one software program to another
  • Utilizing photocopying and scanning equipment as needed
  • Demonstrating excellent communication skills and working effectively in a team environment
  • Staying on timeline and understanding deadlines
  • Coordinating activities with plant supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders to optimize database performance

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in data entry or a related field is preferred
  • The ability to read and write effective reports and business correspondence using standard Microsoft Office products
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds, move around production areas, and climb ladders or platforms while wearing safety and production-related equipment
  • Previous experience operating computers and using database technology
