Job Summary

As a Customer Service Specialist in Healthcare, you'll be responsible for handling inbound customer calls, resolving pricing issues, placing orders, managing standing orders, handling return goods authorizations (RGAs), and providing contract information. You'll work closely with clients to identify their needs and develop effective solutions, while maintaining positive relationships and ensuring process efficiency. Your exceptional communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will be the driving forces behind your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle inbound customer calls to place orders and confirm eligibility

  • Research standing orders and verify contract administration
  • Resolve customer issues and answer queries related to order delivery
  • Ensure process efficiency by coordinating fertility plans and medications
  • Maintain KPI reports for internal and external clients
  • Escalate complex claims to Senior Billing & Reimbursement Specialists when necessary
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints and improve overall customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED required

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards customer needs
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with CRM software and handling customer inquiries is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, healthcare)

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
