Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative in Eastern Range Operations, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for a range of products and systems. You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and delivery of high-quality services. This is a remote position, requiring a strong and diverse skillset to drive success.
Key Responsibilities
* Instruct customers in equipment operation and provide technical assistance over the phone
- Perform maintenance and technical support on products, including equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems
- Analyze and evaluate products and related performance to identify areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time
- Install, upgrade, and remove products, ensuring coordinative engineering field change
- Complete system programming and optimization as part of the installation process
- Perform routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing, and replacing equipment components
- Provide on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance, and limited troubleshooting
- Maintain effective customer communications and relations
- Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices
- Assist and train less experienced personnel under general supervision
Essential Qualifications
* High School diploma or equivalent, plus advanced training (e.g., degree or certification)
- 3-4 years of experience in a related field, including customer service, technical support, or maintenance
- Ability to work in a remote environment with occasional on-site visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and software
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with Air Force BMC Remedy trouble ticket system, Cyberspace Infrastructure Planning System (CIPS), and Integrated Data Maintenance System (IMDS)
- Course completion certification for Microsoft Windows 10
- Experience working with military or government agencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Special Requirements/Security Clearance
* Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Ability to work in a secure environment with access to classified information
