Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative 1 of Loyalty Services, you'll play a critical role in driving customer retention and promoting the value of our products and services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting policyholders with insurance product information
  • Assisting customers via inbound and outbound calls, including those wishing to cancel their insurance coverage, reviewing products, benefits, and resolving service or claims issues
  • Matching products with client needs
  • Helping collect current and past-due premiums
  • Providing detailed information about policy statuses
  • Assisting with basic technical troubleshooting for website or app-related issues
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding departmental standards, including quality, average handle time, auxiliary time, after-call work, and other KPIs
  • Exhibiting and practicing arenaflex's common purposes and shared traits, supporting process improvements, and providing feedback to leadership
  • Performing other duties as assigned

* Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner

  • Provide accurate and timely information about our products and services
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Meet or exceed departmental standards for quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve shared goals and objectives

Requirements

* Previous experience working as a customer service representative

  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of database software
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to explain detailed policy concepts in simple terms
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service
  • 1-2 years of contact center experience
  • Previous experience with retention efforts to retain customers (preferred)
  • Previous phone sales experience is a plus
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience working in the insurance industry

  • Knowledge of insurance products and services
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
