About This Job:

We are looking for an experienced data scientist who can lead key cross-functional projects for both energy and car business using data science tools and methods to drive business process automation and support sales and service procedures by utilizing our data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and business analytics, with a proven track record of delivering business insights and driving business decisions.

What You'll Do:

- Add to all phases of data science projects: from interpreting a complex business issue into a data science issue to performing data analysis and visualization, and providing solutions to the business. - Create and maintain complex data pipelines, supporting our group's goal in democratizing data and empowering an information-driven association, collaborating with Data Examiners, Data Designers, AI (ML) Specialists, and Product Directors. - Effectively communicate significant insights to all levels of the association with varying levels of data science understanding and backgrounds. - Collaborate closely with leadership, design, and other partners to deliver significant business insights. - Apply various ML, advanced analysis, and visualization procedures to different datasets across the organization.

What You'll Bring:

- 2+ years of experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analysis, Operations Research, Statistics, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Finance, or Design). - Results-oriented areas of strength with keenness and in-depth data science abilities. - Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the association. - Demonstrated history of extracting data insights and building ML models, particularly in business analysis (or related) area. Uplevel group's ML capabilities in at least one significant area (e.g., estimation, predictive modeling, discriminant analysis, or Natural Language Processing (NLP)). - Master in SQL and Python, particularly in standard data science libraries and frameworks like pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, Tensorflow/PyTorch, PySpark, etc. - Capability in at least one visualization tools, e.g., Tableau, Streamlit, etc. - Master in data wrangling and analyzing massive and complex datasets, structured or unstructured. - Ability to self-start and work independently in an unstructured environment as well as explore (and bring design to) ambiguity, carrying an issue from 0 to 1. - Amazing issue outlining, critical thinking, and project management abilities as well as ability to rapidly pivot. - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
