Job Description
As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Transplant at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in helping others on the path to better health. You will be responsible for routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. You will work in a high-production environment where you will need to multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Route questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
- Make outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
- Multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service
- Work in a high-production environment with a focus on accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives
Essential Qualifications
* 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in data entry software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on accuracy and reliability
Preferred Qualifications
* Specialty pharmacy experience
- Call center experience
- Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
Education
* Verifiable High School diploma, GED or equivalent
