IT Contract Specialist

Job Title: Subcontracts Specialist Location: Remote Duration: 03+ Months (Possible extension) Pay Rate: 28/Hr on W2 (All Inclusive) Job Description: This is a temporary, project-based contractor position to supplement the existing Enterprise Contracts team during a period of increased workload specific to M&A-related initiative. Responsible for providing temporary, project-based support to the Enterprise Contracts team to include reviewing, interpreting and advising business stakeholders on existing contractual terms, drafting contractual language for modifications and amendments, as well as negotiation support with a focus on IT contracts and software license agreements. Reviews existing contracts to ensure appropriate language and compliance with business and regulatory requirements. Drafts and negotiates contract modifications and formal contract amendments. Loads contract documents into the contract management system and makes appropriate updates and edits. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to address contract-related needs specific to the M&A initiative. Works to achieve operational targets for specific project with moderate impact on departmental results. Demonstrated experience with IT contracts and software license agreements preferred. Prior experience supporting M&A or project-based contract management activities desirable. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in large, complex organizations and familiarity with government contracting requirements preferred.
