Construction Project Manager, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $100,000/year USD
Many construction positions require you to execute according to a predetermined plan. This position demands that you take ownership of the schedule—and repair it when circumstances disrupt it. 2 Hour Learning is expanding a nationwide network of microschools engineered to compress a full learning day into two hours through AI integration. This model relies on rapid execution and accuracy in physical deployment. Each permitting holdup, every on-site sequencing error, every dropped coordination point decelerates growth. This position was created to remove those breakdowns and convert construction into a reliable, scalable process. You will operate in the field executing builds. Managing contractors. Maintaining schedules. Addressing sequencing challenges before they escalate into delays. Simultaneously, you will leverage AI and digital systems to minimize manual overhead, enhance transparency, and speed up delivery. This is not hands-off oversight. You are the individual who intervenes when schedules fall behind and restores momentum. If you have worked near construction but felt held back by inadequate coordination, insufficient accountability, or recurring crisis management, this opportunity lets you assume command and implement it properly—at scale. What You Will Be Doing
- Manage on-site construction operations, interfacing directly with contractors to confirm work proceeds in proper sequence and meets deadlines
- Take ownership of project schedules, monitor key milestones, surface risks proactively, and implement corrective measures when delays emerge
- Deploy platforms such as Procore, Asana, or MS Project to oversee tasks, records, and advancement across live construction sites
- Facilitate permitting processes by monitoring submissions, addressing review feedback, and aligning stakeholders to advance approvals
- Integrate AI capabilities to streamline planning, record-keeping, and decision workflows, cutting manual workload and boosting execution velocity
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Operating from behind a dashboard, passively monitoring updates while failing to act when schedules deteriorate
- Overseeing projects solely from a strategic altitude without engaging with field conditions and sequencing realities
- Depending on legacy manual methods for tracking status or communicating with project teams
- Sidestepping tough discussions with contractors or stakeholders when timelines are jeopardized
- Delaying action on problems until complete information becomes available
