Ecommerce Assistant Manager- Remote
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and results-driven Ecommerce Assistant Manager to support the growth and daily operations of our online business. This role will assist in managing ecommerce platforms, optimizing product performance, coordinating digital campaigns, and ensuring an excellent customer shopping experience. The ideal candidate has experience in ecommerce operations, marketplace management, analytics, and digital merchandising, with a strong understanding of online retail trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day ecommerce operations across online stores and marketplaces (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, eBay)
- Manage product listings, descriptions, pricing, inventory updates, and merchandising
- Monitor website performance, product availability, and customer experience metrics
- Coordinate promotional campaigns, discounts, and seasonal launches with marketing teams
- Analyze ecommerce KPIs including conversion rate, AOV, cart abandonment, traffic, and sales performance
- Assist in optimizing product pages for SEO, user experience, and conversion
- Collaborate with fulfillment, customer service, and operations teams to ensure seamless order management
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market opportunities
- Generate reports and provide recommendations for revenue growth and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital retail, or marketplace management
- Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon Seller Central, or similar
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tools
- Familiarity with ecommerce metrics, customer behavior, and conversion optimization
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Google Analytics, Klaviyo, or email marketing platforms
- Knowledge of SEO, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), and paid digital campaigns
- Experience with inventory management or ERP systems
- Familiarity with product merchandising and marketplace optimization
