We have an immediate opportunity for a GIS Technical Lead with strong expertise in ESRI platforms to support Electric/Gas Utilities projects in the PGE Bay Area, working within a global delivery model. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can drive GIS solution implementation, lead development teams, and collaborate closely with client stakeholders in an Agile environment while ensuring high-quality deliverables across the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of IT experience, including proven experience in a lead role implementing GIS solutions using ESRI technologies such as ArcFM, ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, Survey123, and ArcGIS Server. Strong experience in GIS analysis, development, and full SDLC lifecycle is essential, along with hands-on expertise in spatial data management, map creation, and data cleansing using ArcGIS Desktop (10.x) and ArcGIS Pro. The candidate should also be well-versed in Agile methodologies, including Scrum practices, and tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Additionally, the candidate should bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical design, development, and deployment of GIS solutions, with strong capabilities in ArcGIS Desktop, ArcFM Suite, ArcGIS Server (including REST APIs and custom widgets), ArcGIS Online, and Python (ArcPy, Pandas, NumPy). Experience in GIS-based web application development using .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap is highly desirable. Exposure to GitHub, App Builder, ArcGIS Mobile, and mobile platform development is a plus. The role requires the ability to design workflows, forms, and integrations, troubleshoot development issues, and support post-go-live activities. Strong communication skills, client-facing experience, and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment are critical. To be successful in this position, one needs to be a technically strong and collaborative leader with the ability to drive solutions end-to-end, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
