Manager, Software Engineer
Position Overview Oversees a small team within the Total Rewards function, ensuring operational excellence in compensation and benefits. Supports the execution of strategic initiatives and contributes to process improvements. Manages day-to-day program administration, resolves escalated employee inquiries, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. Develops junior team members and fosters collaboration with HR partners. What You'll Do:
- Manage daily operations of compensation and benefits, ensuring timely execution and data accuracy.
- Supervise and coach team members on Total Rewards processes, tools, and compliance standards.
- Support annual compensation planning, benefits renewals, and wellness program administration.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, including documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Finance to execute programs and resolve escalated employee inquiries.
- Monitor operational metrics and recommend process improvements.
- Provide training, support, and development opportunities to team members to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
What You'll Bring to Zelis:
- Typically has Bach. +8 yrs.; Masters +6 yrs. Attends company training and regional training in area of expertise. Presents own work to members of department and external consultants and external professional conferences, Collaborates externally
- Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents.
- Proven experience in managing teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Experience managing compensation and benefits operations.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., ACA, ERISA).
- Ability to translate strategy into execution.
