About the Position

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in our mission by providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. You will be part of a collaborative and engaging environment, interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and working together to deliver outstanding results. Your responsibilities will include handling customer inquiries with care, providing excellent service through active listening, and resolving issues proactively. You will be expected to communicate effectively with customers, de-escalate issues when necessary, and track call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and carefully respond to all customer inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively, adhering to arenaflex's data protection policies.
  • Aim to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive and taking ownership of customer concerns.
  • Appropriately communicate with customers, using clear and concise language to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
  • Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues, using effective conflict resolution techniques.
  • Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring seamless handovers to other teams or departments.
  • Track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, maintaining accurate records and metrics.
  • Provide feedback on call issues, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process enhancements.

Requirements

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • 6 months of customer service experience preferred, with a proven track record of delivering excellent service.
  • Over 18 years of age, with a high school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to type 25 wpm, with strong keyboarding skills and accuracy.
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and relevant software applications.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with a basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and components, with a basic understanding of technical concepts and terminology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, with a basic understanding of data analysis and reporting.
