As a Live Chat Specialist - Collections, you'll play a crucial role in responding to borrowers via different digital communication channels with delinquent accounts, collecting past due payments, and providing appropriate payment solutions to cure borrower's delinquency.
Key Responsibilities
* Communicate with delinquent borrowers via different digital communication channels
- Find solutions to help bring borrower's loans to a current status
- Process payments for borrowers with past due payments
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly collection and metric goals
- Collaborate with the collections team to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in collections and customer service
Essential Qualifications
* 1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections; knowledgeable in sales, negotiation, and persuasion tools
- Excellent written communication skills
- Prior experience with financial products preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated and extremely goal-oriented
- Team Player
- Professional demeanor
- Bilingual Spanish/English required
Preferred Qualifications
* 1-2 years of experience in live chat and customer service
- Experience with collections software and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
