The Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for educating union members about the benefits available to them through their affiliation. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our members feel valued and supported. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective strategies to meet our clients' needs. This role requires a strong understanding of customer service principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service to union members, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Educate members about the benefits available to them through their affiliation, ensuring they understand the value of our services
- Develop and implement effective strategies to meet our clients' needs, working closely with our team to ensure seamless execution
- Collaborate with our sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, ensuring that our members receive the best possible service
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions, ensuring that our database is up-to-date and reflects the most current information
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring that you remain up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Essential Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a union or association setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our members
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using CRM software a plus
- Fluency in English (Bilingual in any language is a plus but not required)
- MUST RESIDE IN CALIFORNIA
Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
- Experience in sales or account management
