Role Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. Your key priorities will include greeting customers, assisting them with selection of merchandise, completing transactions, and answering questions regarding the store and merchandise. You'll be the face of our organization, and your positive attitude and approachable demeanor will make all the difference in creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

* Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.

  • Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, adhering to high standards of store appearance and organization.
  • Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from stockroom to sales floor, ensuring efficient and timely inventory management.
  • Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store, maintaining accurate inventory levels and minimizing stockroom clutter.
  • Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system, adhering to cash handling procedures and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any incidents or concerns.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Position Requirements

* Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.

  • Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing store needs and priorities.
