Job Summary
As a Customer Care Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our members regarding insurance products and services. You'll handle inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, or other contacts from members, assist with quotes, policy inquiries, billing, and more. You'll also identify and understand member needs to provide accurate advice and solutions for insurance products and services.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, or other contacts from members regarding insurance products and services
- Assist members with quotes, binding new business, policy inquiries, billing, payments, underwriting, and coverage provisions
- Identify and understand member needs to provide accurate advice and solutions for insurance products and services
- Operate efficiently in a contact center environment while maintaining engaging member interactions across multiple channels
- Maintain required Property & Casualty license and state registrations
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service by phone and email
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements
- Ability to acquire Property & Casualty licenses and state registrations within 90 days of hire
- 1 year of customer contact experience in a needs-based sales environment
- 6 months experience frequently communicating with customers by phone, email, or face to face
- US military experience through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, insurance)
- Previous experience in the insurance industry or a related field
- Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
- Experience working in a contact center environment
- Familiarity with insurance software and systems

Salary
The hiring range for this position is: $45,010 - $47,510.
