Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Scientist – Machine Learning Engineer on our Matching and Relevance Team, you'll be responsible for:

• Developing and training machine learning models to improve the accuracy and relevance of job matches for our users
• Implementing best practices for evaluation, monitoring, and MLOps to ensure the quality and reliability of our models
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization to integrate version inference and product applications
• Participating in code reviews and innovation sessions with software engineers and data scientists to drive technical excellence and innovation
• Balancing technical and product thinking to drive business outcomes and achieve our mission to help people get jobs

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (such as Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related fields)
• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or Machine Learning Engineer in a business setting
• Significant expertise in training, fine-tuning, and comparing large models
• Knowledge and hands-on experience working with Deep Learning Libraries (such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Huggingface, etc.)
• Familiarity with recommendation systems, particularly rating algorithms (a plus)
• Prior experience in production machine learning at scale (a plus)
• Basic working knowledge of Java (a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Master's Degree in a quantitative field (such as Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related fields)
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or Machine Learning Engineer in a business setting
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud-based services (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (such as Git)

Salary and Benefits
