Job Responsibilities
As an Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist – Pricing & Underwriting Analytics, you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, including pricing and financial models, to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership
- Utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create and maintain forecasting and underwriting models, including developing pivot tables, macros, and formulas
- Leveraging intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Access, SAS, and SQL to query and analyze large and complex data sets
- Identifying and solving pricing issues through thorough evaluation of internal data and data obtained from third-party sources
- Communicating and collaborating with internal business partners across various functional areas, including finance, reporting, operations, business development, and sales
- Presenting pricing theory suggestions, data analysis, and financial models to management on a regular basis
- Preparing senior-level executive documentation of pricing theory financial metric suggestions (Executive Governance Memos)
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, Business, Actuarial Science, or Pharmacoeconomics
- High School Diploma/GED and at least three years of experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Contracting, Finance, Account Management, or Pricing; or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background
- Knowledge and understanding of data, business metrics, and operational processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge results, address ambiguity, and identify root causes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide data to executives and leaders across the organization
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines with a high-quality product
Preferred Qualifications
* Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, including applying a theme, formatting individual spacing, placing a picture, converting slide format and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, and converting chart format and/or formatting font
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including using the SUM function, placing borders, placing column width, placing charts, using text wrap, sorting, placing headers and footers, and/or print scaling
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Word, including placing headers, page breaks, page numbers, and tables, and/or adjusting table columns
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within and outside the country)
